Typical enemies of innovative startups are lack of business skills, market resistance, and inadequate funding. Typical internal enemies of innovation in established corporations are resistance to change, bureaucracy and lack of cross-functional collaboration. Further, if a team leader is not skilled to assess strategic ideas generated by the team members adequately and quickly, the innovation project if bound to fail.

The will to win is important, but the will to prepare to win is far more so. Being a brave fighter is not enough, you must also be a smart, flexible and entrepreneurial strategist.
In radical innovation, a business plan is not to be implemented, it is to get the project team better prepared for real-life challenges. A business plan is useful, but the INNOBALL simulation game helps to develop entrepreneurial smartness of an innovation team far better, and it also helps to strengthen the business model of the project remarkably.
During an INNOBALL simulation game, enemies of the innovation project create various challenges for the innovation team. The innovation team learns to anticipate these challenges and turn them to opportunities. Thus INNOBALL turns players into victorious innovators by helping them enhance their entrepreneurial creativity, strategic thinking and intellectual teamwork.
