Students choose to use social network sites in their spare time to fulfill their diverse social needs and desires. Students share their views on various issues, pictures and get fast reactions from companions. But does the use social systems helps students to build their personality? Do social networking sites serve as an arbiter in forming their personality?

Profiles are extraordinary pages that one can "sort oneself into being". It’s also of truly accommodating to verbal trade due to the truth one can connect with others through technology.

Students nowadays not exclusively utilize SNS for public highlights for others to see but also for education and instructional exercise. They execute online study groups and share facts and contexts required. Through these things, SNS has come to be popular and has as of now turn out to be portion of their lives. Without noticing it, SNS can have association with one’s self-awareness depending with the recurrence of their utilization. Research says that self-concept influences a person's way of considering and behavior. A positive self-concept will result in high self-confidence and impact his or her self-success. Nasrul works as the Assistant Director at Technoputra, University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL). The topic of his PhD Thesis is 'Social Networking as a Mediator to Personality Development among University Students'
